Attachment Healing Space is hiring! We are looking for our first contract clinician who shares a passion for trauma-informed healing and values their own nervous system care as much as their clients'.

At Attachment Healing Space, we believe that healing happens in the context of safe, compassionate, and secure relationships. Our practice specializes in helping adults navigate early attachment ruptures, developmental trauma, complex PTSD, and chronically dysregulated nervous systems.

As a late-identified AuDHD founder, I’ve realized that neurodivergent folks naturally gravitate toward one another — and this practice has organically become a space where clients can safely unmask. As I learn more about my own brain wiring and the lived experiences of those I work with, it has highlighted a clear need to expand our services.

We are actively growing to better support our neurodivergent clientele, specifically addressing executive functioning, sensory processing, and tailored behavioural support. We are striving to holistically support our clients who identify within subgroups including ADHD, AuDHD, ASD, HSP, and PTSD. In addition to our trauma-specific care, we recognize a vital need to bridge this gap in specialized support, helping our clients navigate and ease the tangible barriers of daily living.

We are looking for our first contract clinician who shares this passion for depth-oriented, trauma-informed healing and values their own nervous system care as much as their clients'.

To Apply

Please send your resume and a letter of intent outlining your clinical interests and experience to Kristen Veinott, Private Practice Owner, at:

kristen@attachmenthealingspace.com

Questions prior to application are welcome. If you would prefer to verbally advise of your clinical interests instead of a written letter, I am happy to accommodate your preferences. A resume will be required, however, the cover letter can be accommodated with a casual email or conversation.

The Ideal Candidate(s):

  • Master’s Level Credentials: You are a Registered Social Worker (Clinical Specialist), Registered Psychologist, Registered Counselling Therapist (RCT), and/or Occupational Therapist.

  • Professional License: You maintain current licensing and are a member in good standing with your provincial regulatory body with an ability to obtain professional liability insurance.

  • Experience: You bring a minimum of two years of experience in a counselling/therapy setting, comfortably providing individual and/or couples therapy to adults.

  • Therapeutic Orientation: Your practice is rooted in attachment and somatic principles. You are either trained or actively pursuing training/interest in modalities like Internal Family Systems (IFS/Parts Work), EMDR, Ego State Therapy, DARe, Somatic Experiencing, Somatic Attachment Psychotherapy, or the Safe and Sound Protocol. Although we are deeply rooted in attachment-focused care, we are curious about other practice approaches and modalities you might offer.

  • Neurodivergent Support: Your expertise may also include evidence-based behavioural modification, sensory integration, and executive functioning support as it relates to neurodivergence and post-traumatic stress recovery.

Shared Values: You are self-led and comfortable navigating daily operations independently, yet you value vulnerability, lifelong learning, and collaborative case consultation.
